Maya Gelfand has been with GAC since the early 2000s. During her tenure at GAC, she has been involved in all aspects the company’s business, first as executive assistant to the company’s president, George Arzt, then as a lobbying compliance officer, lobbyist and most recently Chief Operating Officer. In her current role, Maya works with other company executives and clients to ensure the firm’s continued success. Prior to taking on her latest role, Maya worked to organize and promote special events for a broad range of clients and has become the go-to expert on lobbying compliance both in-house and for our clients, guiding them through the extensive city and state reporting requirements. On behalf of our clients, Maya lobbies City Council and NYC agencies for budget allocations and on other matters. Maya is fluent in Russian.
